She was the first pro bono attorney to accept a guardianship case with the Pro Bono Guardianship Project, even though she had never practiced guardianship before. She began working on her case immediately after it was referred and did a wonderful job representing the client, especially given that there were some unexpected challenges related to the representation. Her advocacy resulted in the client obtaining legal guardianship of her adult child, which was necessary for that person to continue accessing vital services and supports.”
