"After years of being in an abusive relationship, my daughter and I escaped. She’s still traumatized, and afraid, and always has a suitcase ready to go in case we have to run away from her father again.

We had a protection order, which needed to be renewed yearly. One day, the renewal was denied. We were shaken with fear.

Luckily, Northwest Justice Project came to our defense. The order was reinstated and extended for five years.
