The ULP helps people obtain their Unemployment Insurance (UI) benefits. UI is a Washington State insurance program. Sometimes, workers are wrongly denied these benefits and need legal representation. Unemployed workers often cannot afford to hire a lawyer to help them. ULP provides that help, without a fee, to assist these workers in their time of need.
