Access to justice is a cornerstone of our democracy. The Washington State Alliance for Equal Justice serves as the innovative framework for ensuring that access to the civil justice system remains a reality in Washington state. The framework provided by the Washington State Alliance for Equal Justice ensures that quality legal assistance is delivered to Washington's low-income residents in a coordinated and cost-effective manner.

Legal Services in Washington State is a model public-private partnership that leverages federal, state and private contributions to assist more than 80,000 people a year in need of critical legal assistance.

The Northwest Justice Project serves as the federally funded partner in the Washington State Alliance for Equal Justice.
